I’m on a mission to help women entrepreneurs stuck in masculine hustle-culture build and scale heart-centered businesses that are profitable and purpose-driven through leveraging their unique feminine strengths—proving you can achieve top-tier results while safeguarding what matters most.
I grew up a small-town girl from Chattanooga, TN—obsessed with sports, Michael Jordan, and dreaming of “flying” to do something great, like Mike. From a young age, I was a Perform-a-holic, believing that being the best—star student, Division I athlete, youth leader—would earn me love, value, and eventually, success. After marrying a youth pastor, I became a mom of four in six years, effectively earning my “PHD” in dirty diapers and laundry. Life was full and happy…
Until tragedy struck in 2006. I found my son face down in his crib—a bed that would later be recalled just six months later. In that moment, my world turned upside down.
Some days, the thought of living without my son Hosea felt debilitating. But as I looked at my other children, I felt a supernatural strength to press on and become my best self. Business was never in my plans, but it became a pathway to find purpose through pain. With zero business background, I said “yes” to an opportunity, even though I was terrified to speak and hated sales.
I didn’t always have this business— the clients, the sales, the vision, the confidence. In fact, I had zero experience in business.

What resulted were three successful businesses that brought freedom and value—but also near-burnout, a strained marriage, and a hard question:
I had reached a crossroads where I realized what I was doing was taking me further from the life I felt called to create, and knew I had to find a better way.

This crossroads was what I call a RISE Moment—an awakening that causes you, the true you in all of your essence, to come forth, get up, stand up, and shine. Rise moments come when what you’re doing is no longer working or when life circumstances throw you a curve ball. It’s an intersection of decision: Stay down. Stay stuck. Let it die.
I hope, like me, you’ll find it in you to hope for more, to explore a new way to work that is both profitable and fulfilling, and to rise to your fullest, God-given potential.

I worked a network marketing business on the side as we welcomed daughter #2.
2004
At 21 years old, I became a pastor's wife and mom, all in year #1 of marriage. I was so nervous & excited to be a mom!
2002
I played my final career Division I soccer game and 1 month later was married to Nathan Oates.
2001
Started a network marketing business with my husband and scaled to 6 figures in our first 12 months, without social media or an email list.
2009
Completed our family with baby #4. Lost a job and lived out of a church food pantry for a year. The "the dark night of the soul" gave way to unshakeable faith & unwavering purpose.
2008
Loss of our son and #3. Drowning in dirty diapers, laundry, and questions, I learned to grieve: an invaluable asset for the next decade+ of business.
2006
Jenni Rae Coaching was birthed. After 15 years of training 1000s of entrepreneurs in sales, marketing, & personal branding, it was time to launch my own.
2019
Scaled a 3rd business, after walking away from one I'd built for 16 years. I learned a new level of internal mastery + relational resilience + strategy.
2016
Launched biz #2: BURSTClub, a fitness method and online platform to help busy fitness lovers get maximum results in a fraction of the time.
2010
From the Diary of a Former Perform-Aholic AND THE BIRTH OF THE FEMININE HUSTLE MOVEMENT
For me, being a high performer started young.
As the youngest of four, vying to be seen among my siblings, I learned that when I excelled at things, I was not only noticed—I was applauded and awarded. That was the fuel an Achievement Addict needed.
Through high school, I pushed myself to earn a 4.2 GPA and a full-ride Division I soccer scholarship. Early on, I equated performance with love and acceptance, and the Performer in me was born.
In my 20s, after having four kids in six years, that drive shifted to being “the best mom.” Then life took an unexpected turn: we lost our third child, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and we faced two job losses in less than two years. We had a choice—to take back control of our time and finances or let circumstances define our future. I hustled to the top of two network marketing companies, and launched a multi-6 figure fitness business, grinding my way through.
But at my crossroads, I knew there had to be a different way. I could keep pushing toward burnout, or I could redefine how I worked to achieve success and fulfillment.
That’s when I created The Feminine Hustle Method—an approach that leverages the unique strengths of women, combining inner mastery with strategic action.
It’s about more than external success; it’s about navigating what I call the "magical middle"—the space between six figures and a half-million where you uncover the leader within and unlock the next-level version of yourself - You 2.0.
Instead of following the masculine-driven grind - and what even other top female entrepreneurs were portraying as necessary to build an “empire”- I learned to leverage emotion, mindset, relationships, and identity to build a purpose-centered business that fuels and fulfills rather than drains.
